Did you pay the balance in full at the Costco American Express credit card?
I read where there are credit cards and credit cards by American Express. I am under the impression that Costco Rewards card is a credit card, but I would like some clarification before signing it. Is there going to be additional costs or anything if not paid in full every month, as many American Express cards?
American Express will even "authorize" payment cards, such as gold and platinum to achieve a balance and not be paid in full. The credit cards as TrueEarnings Costco do not have to be paid in full. HOWEVER, not paying in full is a red flag for AmEx, and can lead the credit limit being severlely reduced or canceled card. American Express credit cards should be treated as payment cards, and be paid in full each month. There are dozens of reports of adverse action AmEx in the forum below, and most of them involve achieve a balance.
