Can I use a desktop with an N network card on a G network?
I have a desktop with an D-Link - Xtreme N Wireless-N Desktop Expresscard. I want to use this (for now) on my G network at home. Will this work?
yes; 802.11n is backwards-compatible with 802.11g and 802.11b. however, you'll be limited to 802.11g speeds. (mostly fine for internet, but if you transfer a lot of data between computers, you may see lags.)
