Windos XP Disk Open problems?

I have a very serious problem, I have Windows XP, I can not open my drives (C, D, E and F) by licking or enter boton with the mouse / keyboardd when I lick "My Computer" icon on the window of my original desktop computer but still appears if I try to open any drive of my computer always open a new windo the search result, a window where you can search any type of file open instead of driving. I can only see my records by exploring the options. Is there anyone to help me in this matter. Thank you

Try to restore the explorer.exe file from the CD, where U've installed Windows XP. Normally U can not restore this file. U need to use a tool called msconfig. Follow this step: Click Start ->> Run-> Type msconfig> & press ENTER. Msconfig window appears. On the General tab, u'll find a button labeled "Expand File ..." Press. A new window appears. Type Explorer.exe in the "File to restore" field. Type the heart of Windows XP installation location (CD-Rom or any other backup drive to where U've installed Windows XP). Type in your Windows directory path (eg C: Windows) in the option "Save in" field and press the Expand button. When the restore process is complete, restart ur pc. Hopefully this will solve your problem. I felt the same problem a few days ago and I fixed on this path. If it works, pls do let me know. Thank you for the question ur.
