Help hooking an Xbox 360 to my monitor?
I have a screen 19 "4:3 with a resolution of 1280x1024. It has VGA and DVI, and an option to switch between either one in the menu. I'm running a DVI cable from my PC on my screen, if I want to enjoy the additional VGA port. I have the RCA red, yellow, white and plugged in my standard definition TV, so my component cards are free. My plan is to switch on the plug (which goes in the 360) and option menu (on my screen) to toggle between TV and my screen. Does this work? and with a 25 foot cable, I get a lot of interference?
Yes, it will work as long as the cable does not work side alogn 25foot cable antoehr u should have little or no interference. I also used which is much simpler http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=40681 its official Xbox 360 VGA cable.
