Adapter Viewsonic
Monitor compatibility with the new mac-mini. PLEASE HELP!!!?
I have a ViewSonic VG2230wm monitor that has a D-SUB and a DVI-D connentor. I dont know what the difference is but I was wondering if I could connect my monitor to the mac-mini or if I was gonna have to buy a DVI cord. I know that the mac-mini comes with a DVI output using Mini-DVI to DVI Adapter and that they sell a Mini-DVI to VGA Adapter. Im a little confused about this. Please help if you can. I just want to know if I can connect my monitor right out of the box or if i have to buy something. If so, what do i buy. Thanks in advance.
Use DVI.
I own a Mac Mini, and in my experience with it I find it works best with a digital connection like DVI (as opposed to analog VGA).
If you don't have a DVI cable, a standard DVI monitor cable is cheap. I got mine for $5 new from Amazon.
